I noticed that the tool can seemingly on my end only edit up to texture index 31 on a model.

I believe I did try it on the original Submaterial Tool & it had the same effect.

I wonder if you could try to expand the range of texture indexes that can be edited?

Add setting in tool panel to enable/disable submaterial on self? Sometimes I don't want to change my submaterial and it's annoying to press a number instead of scroll to switch away.

Would it be possible to make the NPCs transfer their submaterial changes to their corpse when killed?
