I don't know why, but I absolutely love this gun. So much so that I decided to 3D print a replica and turn it into a semi functional prop. Many hours of mechanical whirring later, I have a result:

I know it's blue right now. I haven't painted it yet. In case your are wondering, I did not make the model myself. I extracted the .gma addon file, converted the .mdl source engine model to .obj, and then converted that to .stl that works with my printer.
