Planned Synergies
Wanted Synergies (I don't know what to do for those items, and I'm definitely looking for suggestions)
If you want to propose a synergy for an item not mentioned here, describe what you think it should do! Disclaimer: I might use your idea, but I might also not use it.
Also, Eye of the Occult could get a synergy. Could make it so that when you open up a crack, the ghost that comes out is now controlled by you (moving the same way Eye of the Occult tears move), eventually crashing down into an explosion after a delay. (Maybe just before the crashing down the ghost could seek out a nearby target, this would probably have to be short-range)
Quick ideas for the synergies you are looking for:
Godhead - where your ghosts explode, a circular damaging aura is temporarily left behind.
Homing - ghosts move much faster towards their target. (maybe a little simple)
Eye of Belial - I feel like the effect in the game is pretty cool already, creating tears at the site of the explosion which then seek out enemies.

Nugget:Ghosts make Nugget bursts when they explode!
More complex idea - if a ghost is already in the air and you summon another, that ghost will seek out the ghost that is already in the air and merge with it. The explosion of this larger, merged ghost will be bigger than the normal explosion and deal increased damage.
Godhead could spawn a static tear uppon colision. This tear has a rather large aura and does not have homing.
Trisaigon could spawn trisaigon tears similar to brimstone but less brim.
EDIT: other ideas
anything that gives piercing: a weaker spirit spawns after it hits something, this spirit will do half your damage and will target a different enemy
lump of coal: spirit is darker now and its explosion and damage increases the farther it goes to kill a enemy
lil slugger (item from tainted treasure rooms): a sawblade comes out of the rift instead, it functions like a normal spirit but after hitting a enemy it acts like the sawblade projectile from the mod
