Why do I have this sense to pick up this stuff only hours after it posts randomly after months? It's weird. I do it on Reddit, too.
I would strongly suggest comparing notes with other FU mechanical races.
For me I drew stat boons/banes by cross-comparing with the FU tink race and the sergal race (tinks because mechanical/explorers, sergals because more of a feral tech-savvy race which aligned somewhat with protogen lore.)
Also drew from protogen lore which states weaknesses to radiation and "cosmic dust" (and seeing as they are more of an android, temperature having a strong input is warranted), as well as being more handheld equipment aligned when exploring. Figured balancing around 1h ranged would be decent.
If you don't mind my asking, what's meant by "1h" ranged? I haven't seemingly heard that term...
