Norsca Hardmode For Some Reason?
Norsca was already a bit wet in Immortal Empires while it awaits its CA rework. It feels way more aggressively difficult in SFO now. Berserkers have been made more difficult to obtain, and within a few rounds you very often get war declared on you as Wulfrik by like 4 - 6 other factions. Belakor often does too, and when he rolls in it's with an army that has mostly tier 2 and some tier 3 units. Meanwhile your units are all mega small because of how SFO closed up the unit recruitment to two building paths. It feels very bad.

I'm playing as Wintertooth right now and I'm also having a very tough time. Could you figure out how to recruit those Chaos Warrior themed RORs you seem to unlock?

However, to me it seems the Auto resolve is really bad for Norsca. I'm losing almost any battle in auto resolve against Kislevite factions, although I easily win those battles manually.

With Norsca the best thing you can do is try to migrate to Skeggi. If you vassalize them. you will get a t2 settlement with a landmark that allows you to recruit Berserkers and every unit is recruited with 4 more ranks. Moreover, less factions that want to murder you and conquering hexoatl gives you access to a research that grants your units 10% physical resistance. This is not something SFO added. It has been like that since wh2. Beware the pirates on the way since they will attack you due to the fact that your army is weak and you get attrition damage from high seas. It is challenging but in a good way rather than being attacked by everybody in the north. If you play with Wulfrik you do not even need to fight Kiev to win the campaign. Way better experience.

Norsca is incredibly strong with their scaling +damage -upkeep on marauder building spam. I just make a non aggression pact with belakor almost immediately by going to war against the French with him then doing nothing to help. Then I look for the obvious leaders of the other norscan factions and beat them in a fight to confederate. In 10 turns I have a ton of provinces and income, then I kill the slaanesh boy because F him. Then fight Kislev for a while do monster hunts and take Throgg too when hes done being useful in cleaning up his area of dwarves and such.

Easy.

I am playing Wulfrik, and I've gotten all the notifications and still can't figure out what this is about. I don't know how to recruit them at all.
