Completely possible to overcome but I didn't want to dedicate my sister's army to eradicating them and fighting them without a doomstack can be extremely rough when they bring multiple stacks. Nothing like winning a fight vs three stacks of undead only for one of the reinforcement stacks to trigger another battle where you fight them all again post rez. Repeat for every additional stack.
yep, its utter garbage at the moment...when the AI undead attack a settlement they ALWAYS attack wice each end turn phase because of this ridiculous thing. so the only way to deal with attacking undead at the back of beyond is to put armies everywhere. extremely annoying.
