this RoR don't have explosive damage so its probably some special gimmick with its projectiles
and pretty awful ap (matters even against armourless targets due to hawkish precision), you need to hit each of the 4 projectiles (which comes at range cost)
also also, even if there was explosive damage, 1m is so small you would only get benefits from a blobbed up mass entity small unit in melee
all in all this RoR is doing at least currently barely 15% more damage than a regular waywatcher against an armored foe and thats almost entirely from sheer number of projectiles with base damage and bleed
its designed to clear up lightly armoured targets and blobs (just make sure no shield block is present)
Sounds reasonable, I just found it confusing that normal waywatchers did about 100 kills while these guys did 700+. Ty for clearing it up!
