Request for a tutorial or guide on removing the effects from the Mod files
Lots of people love using this mod, after a few years of return back to this game seeking overhaul mods like this, I agree their love for this mod.

The only one thing that I guess holding it back from being something that can be enjoyed by others, the effects from this mod produces a lot of Lag when it comes to destroyed Tanks burning and having way too much black smoke particles, tanking FPS noticeably from my end

I'm not really a pro at modding the game, so I won't pretend to know how-to but I also won't beg for stuff
Just kinda want an answer if it is possible to remove the effects from this mod from the subscribed mod files by ourselves.

Yes you can. But it can be a complicated and long process as many functions are tied to the effects.

Ah...oh well, that long process alone is a barrier to prevent from wanting to do it xD
Not even sure if that will fix the FPS from tanking issue or not, was merely a guessing on my part.

Thanks for taking the time to reply! Since this is a niche modding community nowadays.

I couldn’t agree more with this. I’m also on a pretty low-spec laptop, and even the base game already pushes it to the limit. Once the burning wrecks and thick black smoke effects start piling up, my FPS tanks really hard.

Would definitely love if there’s a way to tone down or remove those particle effects just from the mod files—it would make the whole experience much more playable without losing all the other great things this mod adds.
