GiC is -NOT- an overhaul mod, and merely has a large amount of its own content relegated to its own planets, as well as the usual microdungeon integration into vanilla RNG biomes, a handful of space encounters, and endgame story content after beating the Ruin (or the other storyline, which is accomplished via completing all of the respective GiC questlines from Esther). This is integrated in such a way to not be affected by FU's own alterations to vanilla. We have taken into account what FU has already touched, and steered clear of it with our own custom mechanics that do not interfere with FU's.
GiC gear will not assist with vanilla/FU progression (GiC runs off its own damage and elemental systems, aside from some minor protection against vanilla elements), and likewise FU equipment will not "progress" GiC.
I recommend joining the GiC discord for further help and clarification on the content. The link can be found at the bottom of the Page Description.
Knowing that you worked specifically to not have conflicts and changes with FU is very impressive!
Very nice to know that I can enjoy both at the same time, thanks!
