SCP-1905 only spawns stuff when a pawn is holding / in the room with it.

I find just putting it in a separate closet by itself and not letting any pawns inside is the best solution.

You have to destroy SCP-1905 to stop the dinosaurs from spawning.

Selling could be a better option as 1905 is pretty pricey, destroying it outright would lose you some major dough.

Selling it doesn't work because it will spawn dinosaurs in the inventory of the merchant. Trust me. I learned this the hard way.

You could sell it to orbital traders, that way it instantly is off your property
