yeah, the oil, diesel and jet fuel is the cargo.

and hmm, I never thought about that, that if you damage the pumps and/or valves that you might not be able to recover the cargo

but I'm also not too sure if I can really do anything about that...

oh also in the reply to the other discussion you posted in, I mentioned how that I fixed that bug where they're not despawning, but didn't yet release it

Thank you! I just woke up for the day and am about to check it out. As far as accessing the cargo goes, if you add a hose anchor that has a direct pipe connection to each tank, would that allow for extraction after damage?

Your fixes do not seem to have applied, so I am going to start a new save and see if that works. I tried extracting the fuels from the cargo ships without damaging them, and it still does not work. I did reload the script twice, but that caused the cargo ships to all disappear from the map and a patrol boat to experience everlasting clang.

Edit : The cargo ships don't despawn at all either for some reason. I'll give an update after i've tried out the new save. Is there any debug info I can get that would help you out?

Tested it on a brand new save and the game is running way better. The lag is essentially gone and things are working right again. I still cannot pump out any fluids out of the cargo ships though.
