Full Explanation:
For some reason, ever since a few updates ago, whenever the game calls "onVehicleDamaged" many times in a tick, the game will temporarly freeze for awhile, even if the function has nothing in it, so you may notice that disabling this mod will fix the issue, which may make it seem like its this addon's fault, however its just due to the game calling the onVehicleDamaged function which is causing it. Sadly I cant really fix this issue on my end, and my account on the issue tracker is moderated, so nobody can see the bugs I report, not even the devs can, as its pushed to the very bottom.
I dont understand why its so resource intensive though, most of the data it gets never changes for the vehicle.
the cargo vehicles when killed will take 1 hour to despawn iirc, as then it gives you time to go and recover the cargo from them
cargo vehicles that are empty when killed will simply be despawned as usual.
also, this discussion is quite old and unrelated to the issue you're mentioning, so I'd prefer if you created a new discussion, but meh, doesn't really matter much lol
btw, could you run "?icm info" and tell me what it says for the version?
oh right! This is an issue where the killed vehicles aren't showing on map debug, I fixed this internally, but have not yet pushed the fix, update will be coming very soon.
I didn't think to check the age of the post before asking. I'd be happy to ask on a new post though. I checked the info, here's what it says.

I post my other question in a new discussion.
Just released 0.3.1, should address this issue.
It seems I have the same issue, but it happens not at the moment of hit, but at the moment, when the AI boat going to sink.
Recorded a video (freeze on 1:10): https://youtu.be/AvosyOa2XIg?t=69

I'll be releasing a hotfix soon that will hopefully address the physics freeze issue.
About how long until the hotfix is released?
No rush of course, I'm sure its far more complicated than a simple fix, just curious.
