How to just have the map. (No portraits or custom cursor)
If you just want the map and not the portraits and cursor. Locate where your steam is installed. Go to steamapps -> workshop -> content

Locate your HOI4 (it'll just be numbers [mine is 394360].) Then locate this mod (it'll be numbers).
After that delete the following folders/direcotries:
gfx -> cursors
gfx -> leaders
portraits

Coolio, though I have already made my own version of this without the portraits. But with a few other UI mods, so not exactly. But nonetheless you're welcome.
