Yeah this was annoying for me too, so I opened an issue[github.com], but since it was unfixable, I just chose a theme that was complete (I think it's 'chroma'), the same thing you've done for the 'starbound' theme. Have you tried to create a Pull Request (https://github.com/zetaPRIME/sb.StardustSuite/tree/master/StardustLib) so that there's no need for a separate patch?
