Hello, telardo. I am using the Rational Romance mod (Continued). It implements a dating system with a few activities (hookups and long walks basically). To assure compatibility, it would be nice to have a patch so the new romance need gets fill up too with hookups, etc.

This is fantastic! So my main thing is an 'on ramp' to being lovers maybe hugs amongst friends (probably kissing animation is fine). Likewise kiss before being lovers would be cool but might be a bit much to ask / would end up everyone kissing everyone at random.

Other relationships would be cool too like 'best friend' but I do think creating new relationships is bugged based on similar mods.

The problem is, such a "patch" is not as easy as you thought. In most cases it needs a "transpiler" and takes times. I may or may not add it later.

Hugging is hard to implement in this game, considering its abstract rendering and pawns have no hands. Other relationship is also not the main focus, sorry. I will consider adding pre-relationship interactions.

Perhaps add a polygamy meme in game, and limit spouse amount in normal situation. Male/female supremacist meme would still allow multiple spouses for the superior gender and maybe give some discriminatory option precept if you really want to ramp up that "superiority".

Not a suggestion for this mod, but a suggestion for a new mod, could we get a version that makes the overall recreation more group based, like i found it always weird for there to be only one person playing poker.

Can we get like uhhhh soulmates option so divorce never happens that i can set in edb or for certain characters or hell maybe it just happens randomly

@epicfloor Can't you do that with supremacist meme and max spouse count precepts whcih are already in game?

@Tirith Amar So you're asking for lite version, I can make it when everything is stable enough, but I remember there's other mod which implements this idea

@James Nasa sorry but I don't get your point, you want a new relationship "soulmate" that they won't breakup? I think it can be done in that precept...

I've been looking for more narrative-oriented mods and this looks great. The social aspect of the storytelling is so underdeveloped.

In particular, I'm really looking forward to playing with the new interactions and thoughts.

I wonder if, after your break, you might consider:

1. Extending the needs to other relatives
2. Having "rescue lover/spouse/relative" quests
3. (a big ask) Allowing some kind of auto-join chance when lovers/relatives show up as traders/raiders

Could you add the option to toggle the interactions individually? I'd like to disable the kiss interaction, as it causes pawns to interrupt their work and run halfway across the map. Or maybe add an adjustable distance check to it? Besides that, awesome mod.

Hey, I just wanted to say first that is a fantastic mod! I was considering getting into modding just so I could do something like that myself hahaha
I love mods that expand the social aspect of Rimworld, I waste so much time looking at the little social tab. By far the best addition is the pillow talk, I love it so much. It's actually what my suggestion/request is about: Is it possible to make "pillow talk" it's own separate category on the social liner, as opposed to just chit chat? Maybe with the romance icon, I think it would add a lot to the flavor of the mod. Changing the subjects avaliable and the relationship gain would also be cool!

Do you think it would be possibel to add/modify the lovin' before marriage precepts so there's some more variety? For example, I thought only partner (mild) would allow them to share a bed, but not have lovin' before marriage, but nope, vanilla is just like marry or don't share a bed on all three levels of that.
And it would also make sense if there was one for sharing beds is ok, but lovin' is not, for all the levels, maybe?
I would also like to see an option to turn the need on for everyone (minus asexual trait), not just people with partners, so there can be things like spontaneous one night stands without it being an event or maybe a tie-in with the jealous trait that can be eventually be solved?
Would love to see what can be added to this already great mod <3
