yeah same for me i tried unlocking them via the mods files but i couldnt find their location so i think the best fix for now is to use the unlock everything mod

have inner child unlocked. when you go in the red key room at home inner child will always be there, picking up inner child with one of the ddlc characters will unlock the tainted character
