I have already spoken with the author of said mod https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2119687603 and is willing to work with you to make a proper patch to make it work.

That mod makes research a lot more immersive and pawns even more unique. I am looking forward to see your mod works with his.
