My game doesn't open properly with the new menu Background videos
it seems i can't play the game because the update. i checked my mods and found out mechlab is the culprit...
the game freezes on the menu with a black screen and only the sound runs(also it bug out alt+tab and volume mixer for some reason). i think its caused by the new background animations that my pc is unable to handle along side loading the game... is there a way to disable thoses animations to confirm if its only that blocking me from play the game?

I think I am having the same issue. I very much doubt this is a hardware issue on my end as there is no indication of a performance issue while loading.

Have you given it some time to load? The loading point was changed from that black screen to the start of the menu.

besides, i would rather have the older and faster loading point for the game...

Something's gone wrong, that's fairly unique to whatever you two have setup, since it's not an issue that came up in any of the test builds.

indeed... probably our files borked somewhere and doesnt allow us to play the game

weirdly enough, i had unistalled and re-instaled the mod and nothing seemed to have fixed... i will keep snooping around when i get time.

OK! i take the L... it does take much longer than i am prepare to wait, but it runs. my apologies. Still i wish i could deactivate those new animations to load somewhat faster.

They hav nothing to do with loading speed. In fact loading speed did not change in any way whatsoever, it's just running a bit later.

I've been having the same issue until i had to unsubscribe every mod i have. Looks like i have subscribe the mods again...

i've tried both this version and the nexus version and for me launching the game with YAML enabled results in a soft crash on the main menu once it finishes loading
