Suggestion
Seeing damage effects on the mask would be quite nice. If you get a certain amount of damage the mask could maybe get cracks in it or something like that (maybe use Metro Exodus as an inspiration for that). That would be a cool little detail to have.

I could offer for this addon a kind of broken gas mask glass when hit by a bullet, from a slight crack to a hole in it. Up to the complete unsuitability and replacement of the gas mask.

And I can also offer to make barrels with gas and/or radioactive substances as an entity, which, when bullets hit there, leak substances/gas. Well, and add a geiger counter, since you mentioned radiation.

And maybe a multibind, hold to put it on, if it gets hit tap your bind to slap some tape on the hole and make it usable. Real Metro ♥♥♥♥ there.

How does it break? ive been using it for many days. Its way better than contagion. This guy never updated contagion even.

He means the overlay changes when you get shot. Like in metro where your mask breaks with damage.
