Playing Atropatene / Media and gotten up to the 'land of the medes' mission, when the countdown for the event ends and it provides the imperial challenge war and associated buffs; the war immediately ends the next day with 100 warscore and no changes to territory.

Game is ironman but i managed to test it again through alt-f4 on the game session.
