as the Seleucid's do you get any permanent modifiers for becoming an indo-greek kingdom or is there no reason to go down that path for the Seleucids in invictus

I don't normally give my opinion but I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for keeping this game alive with this mod. It was such a shame when paradox gave up on this game as it had so much potential. With the Invictus mod you've created you've transformed this game into the masterpiece it deserved to be. I've played well over 1,000 hours and have loved watching the progression you guys have made. that was it really I don't know if you have finished the mod or will continue to update it but either way keep up the good work I guess

i have a question. why is the previous version of invictus not showing any of the stuff in the menu when starting a new game? (i have tried to play with the previous version on steam but it doesn't seem to want to work. i have put it in it's own specific list of mods and it does not let me use the features of invictus. i have tried it by it's self and i have tried it with other mods. if i recall correctly then i even tried a different update of imperator Rome to see if it would work for the mod, the only thing i don't think i have tried is unsubscribing from the current version of the mod)

When Downloading Invictus from the workshop, two versions of the Mod are placed in my library, one smaller in size, one larger. Running with both enabled, or just the smaller, causes near-instant crash. Running with the just the larger enabled causes the game to work normally but none of the content for Invictus (most obvious because the Invictus Loading screen is gone.).

I don't know if this is a problem with this particular mod or with the submods, but for some reason the AI has stopped building ports and ships. Everyone with 0 ships and demolishes all their ports. Has anyone encountered this?

Go through your mod list it sounds like you have a incompatible mod that updates the map_data/default.map file.

This is a very niche question. But while playing as Byzantion, I want to keep the original color and name but gain the benefits of the "Hellespontine District" formable...

How can I do this? Do I need to edit game files? Is it worth it to do so?

just checked the wiki and apparently the reason why it doesn't show up is because the dictatorship innovations are not available as a democratic republic (which is the type you start with when you reform into a republic) which is kind of annoying (because you need to reach a certain tech level and sometimes additional requirements to switch) but also somewhat understandable (if a nation just became a republic then why would they entertain the idea of a dictatorship), but from a realistic point of view it should also be a weak point for a republic early on (the beginning years of a newly established republic would realistically be unstable and ambitious people would see it as a opportunity for more power)

i have a question about the dictatorship innovation, what do you need for it to appear if you became a republic starting as a tribe? (both with and without invictus, i just like the option of doing it as a way to help generate political influence but i don't know why i can't find the option for the innovation if i don't start as a nation such as Rome)

ok. thanks for letting me know, but like i was saying another option could be to change the option that directly gives gold so it calculates it the same way as imprisoned characters (i have a neutral opinion about either option. you could fix the current option so it gives a more reasonable amount of gold. or you could restore the option to imprison enemy leaders, or perhaps you could keep both options with the change i suggested for the one that skips the imprisonment which then allows the imprison option as a way to decide who to keep around and who not to while the other option would be a way to purely make money)

@etihwsac We've gone back and forth internally about the option. We're reintroducing the ability to imprison leaders next update.

if it's fine to ask. what happened to the option to imprison the leaders of a nation you annexed?. the closest thing to it i found was an option that seems to only give 5 gold, i get if this was how a way for the game to crash was removed but only 5 gold for the lives of all leaders of a nation doesn't feel like enough (if it used the way that it works for selling imprisoned characters then it would feel more fair because then you just sped up the process, but now your not getting enough gold for the option to be viable)

I'm asking as specifically, it had an effect on my Build Roads mod. However I've now implemented a "permanent_province_modifier" effect onto the roads. I assume that task events in I:R should not remove such modifiers?

@drpatristic The error log is lying about this, the entry will always appear. Unless you're actually lategame it can't be that.
You need to send your error log along with the following info:
- Are you using ANY other mods, no matter how small? List them all.
- What year is your campaign in
- Who are you playing
- Have you tried reverting to vanilla 2.0.4 and seeing if the save still crashes

@Snowlet: I'm having the same issue as a few others. It gets to a certain date and crashes no matter what I do. It seems to be the TAG LIMIT issue again. Mod is pretty much unusable for me until this clears up.

Not sure if this is a vanilla problem or I:R issue, but I've noticed that any rebellion (e.g. Illyrian Revolt) deletes provincial modifiers upon holding that particular province. Wasn't this fixed in Vanilla 2.0.4?

@James C You need more than 8 people and atleast one is not a slave. We didn't change this at all.

@GenericUserName We have multiple of these type of reports but we've never been able to identify the issue or any indication as to what it could be.

Games crashes on same date (Feb 1 521). Getting this error:

[pdx_assert.cpp:612]: Assertion failed: TagID < NDefines::NGame::TAG_LIMIT

Only in 521, so running out of tag_id's seems a bit odd, right? Invictus is only Mod running.
