ok. thanks for letting me know, but like i was saying another option could be to change the option that directly gives gold so it calculates it the same way as imprisoned characters (i have a neutral opinion about either option. you could fix the current option so it gives a more reasonable amount of gold. or you could restore the option to imprison enemy leaders, or perhaps you could keep both options with the change i suggested for the one that skips the imprisonment which then allows the imprison option as a way to decide who to keep around and who not to while the other option would be a way to purely make money)

@etihwsac We've gone back and forth internally about the option. We're reintroducing the ability to imprison leaders next update.

if it's fine to ask. what happened to the option to imprison the leaders of a nation you annexed?. the closest thing to it i found was an option that seems to only give 5 gold, i get if this was how a way for the game to crash was removed but only 5 gold for the lives of all leaders of a nation doesn't feel like enough (if it used the way that it works for selling imprisoned characters then it would feel more fair because then you just sped up the process, but now your not getting enough gold for the option to be viable)

I'm asking as specifically, it had an effect on my Build Roads mod. However I've now implemented a "permanent_province_modifier" effect onto the roads. I assume that task events in I:R should not remove such modifiers?

@drpatristic The error log is lying about this, the entry will always appear. Unless you're actually lategame it can't be that.
You need to send your error log along with the following info:
- Are you using ANY other mods, no matter how small? List them all.
- What year is your campaign in
- Who are you playing
- Have you tried reverting to vanilla 2.0.4 and seeing if the save still crashes

@Snowlet: I'm having the same issue as a few others. It gets to a certain date and crashes no matter what I do. It seems to be the TAG LIMIT issue again. Mod is pretty much unusable for me until this clears up.

Not sure if this is a vanilla problem or I:R issue, but I've noticed that any rebellion (e.g. Illyrian Revolt) deletes provincial modifiers upon holding that particular province. Wasn't this fixed in Vanilla 2.0.4?

@James C You need more than 8 people and atleast one is not a slave. We didn't change this at all.

@GenericUserName We have multiple of these type of reports but we've never been able to identify the issue or any indication as to what it could be.

@Snowlet that you for the quick reply! Any hints on tracking down what is happening? It’s always the same date. I’ve tried being in ears, ending wars, raising levies, etc. and it’s always the same date. Either way, thanks again!

Games crashes on same date (Feb 1 521). Getting this error:

[pdx_assert.cpp:612]: Assertion failed: TagID < NDefines::NGame::TAG_LIMIT

Only in 521, so running out of tag_id's seems a bit odd, right? Invictus is only Mod running.

Parthia questline is bugged? the first quest require stay in peace but it always claim false. Is it only be triggered by event or what?

also Norwich in England hv another bug in his unique quest line, wrong target claim, and u cannot even finish the first mission.

Bug in the quest line of Guardian of Gaul. The second last quest require wise one with more than 9 zeal but u can never submit it even u hire someone who hv 9 zeal or even more.

is it possible to rebalance Italy? Rome is far too strong when comparing to his historical path. Just keep snowballing real too fast. Rome's navy and even Spanish ppl can beat Punic sooo bad, turn out no ai can stop Rome in early game.

Anyone else getting painfully slow monthly ticks since the last update? I have monthly autosaves on. Used to take half a second, now it takes 10. Haven't tested without other mods yet, but I had a backup of the previous mod version and reverting fixed the issue.

Hello. I got confused a little and am trying to find a mod (or so I suppose) which cause the following. I was playing a couple of weeks ago and Roman starting religion was Hellenic, Mars was already a Deity of War. Did your mod change its faith to Italic? If not, do you happen to know the mod which did it, by any chance?

It won't happen. we don't extend the map beyond the actual size for various reasons. the part invictus added was still in the map size but now very few part can be added. that's why you won't see china or the mongolia steppes in Invictus

@Šupiluliuma No that would require a new heightmap. We'll not be changing the dimensions further, what's currently on the map is the max of what's possible. You can see the actual edges easier using the minimap.
