what has happened: i've bound something, i use it in a rite, consuming where the blade goes, annnnnnnnd it disappears....

how i do shenanigans now: so i just respawn it as the binding blade with console and assume that's how it works.... if this is the unintended way then plz tell me

Do you have AchieveIntegrations?

yes I have AchieveIntegrations below the binding blade in the loading menu, I don't know if that's the problem or not.

oh and some other things, i can't get the follower version of the blade through gameplay, i can't use the blade before working on it( so the winter and knock it gives is useless to me), i can't use many of the rites if i want to keep my permanent influence around, oh and i'm not even playing the game as intended because i use the console's 10 second skip as if it were my turn timer.

I'd suggest having AchieveIntegrations near the top, but I don't know why you'd have those problems.
- I don't know whether the dev intended for you to be able to use the unbound tool in a rite.
- I do know that the bound tool isn't supposed to be usable as a tool in rites. You can only use it in the slot appropriate to the thing that's bound to it.
- I don't remember exactly how you're supposed to bind the blade, but I know that it doesn't work on Names (Teresa, King Crucible, and Ezeem). If you're only trying to use it on Names, that might be why you're not able to get the follower version.
- Most rites that use influences consume them. That's normal.
- Maybe when doing stuff that isn't working right, try letting the game play normally in case there's a five-second recipe or something. It's worth a shot.
