I think that's imcompatibility with another mod, because here I play with basically this mod and some small graphic mods and works correctly

actually, I found something about what might be causing it: "[eternal edition FOR REPENTANCE] Error in "PostUpdate" call: .../complete eternal repentance edition_2500963144/main.lua:16804: attempt to compare number with nil
[INFO]" and "[eternal edition FOR REPENTANCE] Error in "PostRender" call: .../complete eternal repentance edition_2500963144/main.lua:19250: bad argument #1 to 'RenderText' (string expected, got nil)"
both things appear multiple times on the crash report file that appears on the savedata location
Edit: it can't be incompatibility with another mod, as I've already tried both disabling all other mods, aswell as straight up deleting them + the issue is exclusively on my second file, the file on the first save slot worked alright

I wanna add that it doesn't work on save slot 3 as well

Can confirm it's not working for me either. I have Dead God on file 1 and was playing on file 2 now, but the now straight up doesn't do anything.

this is happening to me too.

try this:
go to the isaac folder, go to data, delete the folder complete eternal repentance edition or repentance eternal edition.
this can solve it, if not, then it's probably incompatibility with another mod

I honestly can't see how this can be a mod incompatibility at all.

I see the error, the mod saved it's values as nil, strange that deleting the data of the mod don't solve it, because when you do that the values are reseted to their default values

Again posting it here, I completely missed the "data" part of your original comment, that does fix it. I originally thought you meant to delete the mod folder inside, well, mods, and have the game reinstall it. Thank you so much man
