Damn I already added prevention for curse of the blind itself, but I completely forgot about the alt path. If you see the mod update sometime soon, that means I figured out how to fix it.

Ah I was about to comment this lol, I had a run where I was on alt path and went in the item room, the item was dirty mind and ? and I was pogging so I picked up the blind item and it was magic mush. absolutely cheating the run is now invalid

Ok I THINK I fixed it. It sucks because there's no real way to detect alt path blind items with the mod api, but at the very least you shouldn't be able to cheat with it anymore.

Might want to consider taking a look at how External Item Descriptions handles the extra blind item in the alt floors, it's in their main.lua file from 150 to 175 :)
