Bretonnia Lineup and I am taking a small break from modding
Bretonnia will be the next race for this series. However, I have to admit that I am a bit burnt out from modding and want to take a break before working on these mods again.

But nevertheless, here is my lineup for the bretonnian LLs. I would love to hear what you think about it.

Louen:
- Questing Knight
- Royal Pegasus Knights

Albric:
- Foot Squire
- Knight of the Realm

Fay Enchantress:
- Grail Reliquae
- Battle Pilgrims
- Blessed Trebuchet

Repanse:
- All peasants
- Mounted Yeomen

Truth be told, I never realized how small bretonnia's roster was. There was really not that much units to choose from especially considering that there are units I cannot pick (Grail Knights, etc). But I was tired of fighting against Empire because of their unrealistic Auto-resolve performance. Let me know if there are units you think fits into one of the armies and deserve a buff.

Just my two cents, but I feel like giving Fay grail guardian buffs would be OK, they're not really a doomstack unit as it is (IMO) and are basically her fan club. Although I would certainly be interested to see how you make Grail Reliquaes good :). Either way man, great work, looking forward to this one whenever it comes out!

I’d give knights errant buff to louen. But also since they’re right there by norsca, maybe give em buffs against norsca/chaos. In the lore the northern part of bretonnia is subject to constant raids from norsca. And greenskins too but, for louen, there’s only 1 greenskin faction next to him and it’s quite easy to remove em so, meh on the greenskins buffs.

I don't know about Grail Guardians.... They are actually pretty good. Sure they are not the best damage dealers, but probably the only Cavalry that you can stuck into a long melee fight against elite infantry and not melt.

As for Grail Reliquaes, probably better aura and an active buff to nearby units.

Knight Errant is possible I guess, but their role would be the same with the pegasus knights. I need to think of something that differentiates them.

As for buffs against norsca, I am not a big fan of buffs against certain races because it always feel like a waste when I am not fighting said race. I might make a dilemma and let player choose buffs against Greenskins or Norsca/Chaos since these 2 are the campaign goal of him.

Maybe a debuff and/or mortis engine aura for the Grail relique?

Could also be a debuff aura, yes.

Well after looking at some lore for ideas, Louen *is* a grail knight but i know you dont want to buff them. he also is a paladin and has a personal vendetta against the undead. You could do something with paladins, the heroes.

but tbh, louen is a grail knight boi through and through. if he is gonna buff someone its them.

I am sorry but I think this is really inappropriate. Grail Knights/ Guardians are Doomstack units themselves. In fact, when I try to decide how much buff I need to throw on an Melee Cavalry, I always use these 2 units as my references. (Also having >1000 Grail Knights within one army is also not really lore friendly)

Paladins are heros and are strong units. Again, I want to buff weak units so they are usable in the late game. Buffing Grail Knights/ Paladins don't really increase the diversity of your army composition.

Other bretonnia cavs are also good for their tier but they do fall short in the late game where you can get Grail knights.
