BUG REPORTS & KNOWN ISSUES
First of all, known issues on release:

:ballot_box_with_check: Due to the unfinished state of Asia, Africa and the Middle East in TNO itself, it’s been difficult to ascertain what’s even used in the region, and lots of content there is generic or even unsuspecting placeholder-chans. A lot of content in major tags is buried beneath megatons of scripting, scattered around several event files or have multiple duplicates, which may lead to issues as well. Please report all of these as you see them, when you see them.

:ballot_box_with_check: Our priority was on doing super events and news splashes, with report events suffering a bit. We probably got all the important stuff though! Since all the thousands of event pics were uncerimoniously dumped in a random folder and are often given joke file names though, things have likely slipped through the cracks here and there.

:ballot_box_with_check: In the interest of actually playable content seeing the light of days, memes and dead/inactive content that’s unavailable without cheating/debug has been mostly placeholdered for now.

WHAT TO REPORT

Any instances of 3D, any Placeholder-chans in the wild (pictured below), any content that's busted in general.

Anything covered by the above section or content that obviously isn't finished yet, like ministers/focuses outside of the current Russian content.

I have only two "bug" reports, btw amazing mod

One is if Göring takes over Scandinavia and later gets overthrown by the militarists, when the reichkomissariat falls Sweden will have a human portrait

Another one i found, that might just be me being dumb or not knowing enough about the mod, is when the Iraq civil war happens, Syria and Baathist Iraq will have the same leader portrait, but it might just be the same leader with different names, i don't know enough to tell, so sorry if that's the case.

Both have been reported already and should be accounted for, but thank you for reporting them anyway.

For Sweden, I'd covered "Portrait_Sweden_Olof_Palme.dds", but apparently I'd missed a file called "Portrait_Sweden_Olof_PalmeNOT_USED.dds" which I suspect is the culprit here since he doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere else in the game files, It'd be very ironic if that was the thing at fault given the file name, but here's hoping it's fixed anyway. As for the Syrian leader, that was just a last-minute art transfer slipup on my part, accidentally copied over the wrong asset. I'm hoping to have it fixed in the coming hotfix which I'm hoping to get out on this Monday. I may delay it until Tuesday as some of the German errors reported are pretty complicated with various leaders with duplicates across several folders in TNO itself, which makes it very hard to track some of them down.

Anyway, thank you for your kind words and for taking your time to write up this report. It's very much appreciated. Hopefully I can address these handful of blemishes to improve your experience with the mod soon! :steamthumbsup:

I'm having an issue where there is much less content than what is there. For example, only Japan, Germany, Afghanistan, and some other ones have a custom leader portrait. Not even the U.S. or Soviets have one. Also no custom main menu interface. It probably is because I had to manually download the mod, and then go to the mod folder in documents, and then add the folder location of the mod into the code. (C:\Users\*****\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV\mod\The Moe Order Last Episodes of Anime) There was some other steps that I needed to do but it would take too long, although if you need me to tell you than I will tell you the step by step process of how I did it. I've done this with a couple other mods and it worked just fine but it's this one that is causing me problems.

I don't know what the third party package you got looks like, so I can't really provide any concrete information or advice, sorry. Since no one that's gotten it through the Steam Workshop has had this issue though, I can say with almost absolute certainty that whatever source you got it from has messed up something along the way since I've had tons of people on our Discord server play it and actively post screenshots from their campaigns with none of the issues you're mentioning.

Sorry that I can't help you any further. Either get it through Steam if that's an option, or find a different third party soure, or wait for your preferred one to post a functional version. Either that, or the instructions you got were wrong. At any rate, good luck, I hope you can get it to work!

Neither, V1.0 of this mod was posted on the 2nd of April of this year, with an internal beta release put out a few days prior for bug testing. If whatever you got was from last year, you downloaded the wrong mod. It shares the name with a mod a friend of mine did a while back (I took it over as project lead with his permission last summer) and it only has leaders for the Russian starters if I recall correctly. So if that's the case, it may very well be that the site worked and all, but that you just downloaded an old version with only a fraction of the content that this mod does. In that case, just wait for whatever site you prefer to use to allow you to get the proper version and it should hopefully work. :steamthumbsup:
