Report errors, balance issues, general game grips here:
I've tried to be as careful as I can to avoid including any game-breaking errors in this mod, but some do occasionally slip through (like the Dredmom sprite crash, which has now been fixed). If you spot anything which is causing the game to crash, the player to get stuck, and/or the mod to not function properly, please report it to me here.

I had clicked on a bookshelf and it crashed my game, and then a fountain crashed it in the next game.

I did add a couple of recipes, but fountains are one of the few things I didn't touch with this mod, so I don't think it could be causing this crash. Are you running any other mods? Like More Fountains or Rogueish Renovations? Those are two of the few that I know about which have fountain effects.

By the way, for anyone dealing with corrupted savegames, there's a general glitch that sometimes occurs due to the way Dungeons of Dredmor stores savegames:

Each save includes a copy of every mod that that particular game uses, so that mods can be changed or added or removed from the game as a whole without preventing the save from loading. Unfortuantely a saved game's internal copy of one or more of its associated mods will sometimes become corrupted, preventing the save from being able to load. If you look in the folder for that particular save and find a file or folder with a filesize of zero and the name of the unloadable mod then this is your problem. It can usually be corrected by pasting in an uncorrupted copy of the same file from a different savegame.

The corrupted mod file fix thing isn't working. Is my save unfixable?

When you go into the folder for that save, do you find any filesize zero files for this or any other mods you happen to be running? If not, I don't really have any other recommendations. It may be that your save is irretrievably corrupt. I only learned about the workaround for this particular problem thanks to one of the developers on the DoD forums.

Met a vicious error when using this mod (1.2.2) as well as diggle and the generic expansion packs, ive went mostly fine until randomly at level 13, fought a green hairy beast (one of your mod) and suddenly crashed, saying a file named 'mucus#' (# was a number, i forgot it though :/) is missing. All fine and dandly, but upon starting up the game, both the save and the auto save are missing. Going to the save folder, the save folder vanished without trace. However, upon inspecting with windows, i am able to trace two hidden folders, named '..' and '.'. Attempting to unhide them or access them with cmd.exe have failed, for some reason.

Hmm. No real recommendations there, other than that if and when you find your save folder again, check the Monstrous\sprites\sfx\mucus_ball and mucus_ball_hit folders to make sure they have 4 and 6 .png files respectively. I learned the hard way while play-testing that missing even a single frame of animation will cause the game to crash instantly, just as you described.
If the folders are empty or missing a file for some reason, try overwriting them with versions stored in the master mod folder.

Thanks for the help, so far im trying to figure out where the save folders went and what the heck are the '.' and '..' folders. They prove unopenable and unviewable no matter what i try.

Probably a very futile effort.
But for some reaoson, using this mod eventually. Not right away, sometimes not for a LONG time but eventually with 100 percent certainty will corrupt a save.
Really great mod. Loved all the additions. Is there any possiblity of a fix?

DoD seems to be largely abandoned in terms of support and bug fixes. And from what I've heard, it's pretty prone to self-corruption even without mods. I've played the crap out of it and never encoutered any problems (other than those I made myself and later fixed), but some people just seem to get crashes. This mod adds way more stuff to the game than any of the others mods out there, and I suspect that even though the game supports additional mod content, there may be some sort of internal variable/allocation that just breaks when it encounters too much stuff.

At some point, I may try to create an alternate version that breaks the mod up into smaller pieces, so some people can use just the rooms, or just the monsters, or just the items, and see if eliminating one or more of those elements removes their corruption problems. Unfortunately, that would be a TON of work, because the mod is absolutely huge and everything uses spells/sfx/animations. Picking out which elements belong in which pile would be a massive undertaking, and one I don't really have the time for at the moment.

This would be great.
