This mod will corrupt save files and is fundamentally broken, play at your own peril.

I can see if this mod is combined with others, it could start breaking things. The game is a bit fragile, and the more mods you add, the more chance or things exploding. This is why I always made a back up save after every floor. Best way to keep playing.

Not to mention as you get down to floor 10, things really start to get laggy and what not.

So I was getting could not find the compleat skills mod error after trying to reload a save after downloading a bunch of mods and after a bit of trial and error I narrowed the issue down to this mod right here. removed it and it no longer gives me that error. Figured I'd leave a message to let people know I've had issues with this one so download it at your own risk of losing save files. Cheers

I'm not sure why you think I'm wrong, when it's been well documented for over 8 years that this game will corrupt saves. :P
It makes no sense to ever claim someone who has been playing this game since it first came out, to be wrong.
This information is well documented and well known.
THere are other mods out there that also cause the same corruption issue.
I've run into this corruption issue with lots of mods, not this one.

You cannot get mad because of this one mod pushing the game over the limit.
That's not how it works.

david your information is corrupt. ive played throug hseveral times even on normal. its literally this pack thats causing it. ive posted before.

AGHH. THe game itself has save game corruption issues.
You need to constantly make back up saves after every floor in this game with mods.
Otherwise, it will corrupt or break at a certain point.

Mods just make it easier to reach the point where corruption happens.
There's no real way to stop it.
That's why backups are needed.

there was a thing calle dthe "mega pack of mega mods" a list of 20 mods and this one was included in that pack and i just yolo'ed it and installed all the mods on that list at once. so i don't know wich ones exactly are causing problems but some of them have comments on them claiming they are problematic and so i am unsubcribing one by one from them, unfortunately, this one also has people claiming it's a problem , but then you as the author are saying it should not be causing a problem, so i dunno

anyway, i installed a bunch of mods , like 20 mods from some "megapack" , including this one.

and as others have warned, my saves started getting corrupted and now i have to uninstall these things one by one trying to figure out which one is causing the problem.

I still don't understand how to do a backup and i saw a link to a guide and i read the guide and it left me even more confused than before.
I thought it would be as simple as finding your save file and copy pasting it to the desktop and then just copy pasting it back in to the game files to restore it but apparently, the game does not like when you do that . . .

I deleted the thread actually, because i ended up going off on a tnagent about how i just wanted to learn how to backup the save to protect my data and not because i wanted to cheat and the only person who responded just said some wiseacre comment like "yeah sure, i believe you.. . "

No one would mock you for backing up saves in this game.
