I do not believe this is due to anything in the actual Mod, but I still think it's worth a look.
Basically, I tried to edit the code of a custom Biome spawn rare on my local game. It would have Mycelium, and all the other mushrooms, spawn naturally like a Plant would. When I entered the Biome, I was spammed this error for every instance of Mycelium that existed on the Map, every few seconds.
Obviously, this is not what's supposed to happen. Is there some special means that Mycelium is handled instead of spawning using the Vanilla rendition plant framework?
Apparently there may be an issue between this mod and the Pocket Dimension mod, supposedly this mod spams the log file trying to spawn 'shrooms in the Pocket Dimension only it can't, this continues till the game hangs and goes into "not responding".
has anyone been able to confirm this yet?
Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.HediffDef named VCE_Cholesterol found to give to VanillaCookingExpanded.Thought_Hediff_Extension VanillaCookingExpanded.Thought_Hediff_Extension
I confirmed with the Vanilla Cooking Expanded dev that the VCE_Cholesterol reference was removed. I haven't seen any crashes or anything, but the error at startup might make it worth looking into.
the 1.4 patch for VCE is outdated (throws error because they removed VCE_Cholesterol)
