Lower shout cooldown fits since it is the land of the voice, but should not be too imba, maybe 20% should do the trick. Anything in addition, dunno, I have something on my mind, but it won't show itself, if I notice anything while playing, I'll let you know :)!

Wouldn't a damage boost to 2-Handed Weapons be more down the Nord line? Since it's their top ability in the Vanilla version? Or maybe being able to swing them faster? One handed damage boost seems more for Imperials or Redguards

That may be, but in the end, I always play one handed sword when I go nord and given this mod was originally for me, i'm not changing it to something I don't want.

you could also make true nord players have a damage boost while in combat with spell casters while only wielding melee weapons (if possible) because of their hatred of them

wait so you want me to make a script that tests whether or not the player is a "true nord", whether or not the person they're in combat against is a spellcaster and whether or not the nord is using a melee weapon? Firstly I dont even know how to do that, secondly that'd make it lag SO MUCH especially if you are using other mods that do interesting things like that, and thirdly I like the idea and I wish I could implement it.

maybe you could also make it so the nords learn speechcraft faster because thats where the way of the voice started and some people use speech mods that lower the shout time so if you could make it in conjuction with that but be stable even when alone that could make for a great nord improvement

they're not getting improved speechcraft for 2 reasons: A - ive given that to imperials and B - I have not met a single nord that was remotely pleasant. If they can't even speak to the dragonborn with respect I have no idea how they could possibly be better at persuasion.

really not a single one i've met a few but i've played all over the place so ya XD and i guess it sort of makes since for imperials but to be honest some people think nord because they are the people who master the nord art of shouts more often and start of with a speech boost not the biggest but still maybe you could make a different version of this mod for different tastes maybe could make it easier in the long run with less backclash

Ill probably end up making a version with nords getting a boost in 2 handed, but it will be an optional file when I upload it to nexus.

ah k cool since to be honest they tried to give the nords a 2 handed skill kind feel but they made alot of nords shield and sword users. the book even suggests that as archtype setup which is sad.

when i played as a nord i had no shout cooldown and could shout as much as i liked. is this a common bug or ment to happen? if it's a bug then please fix! i dont like bugs in great mods!

That's mostly the case if you activated the TGM-cheat :P

@Corvo that shouldn't be happening. its an exact copy of the amulet of talos effect so try being a different race and wearing one of them. If it still occurs then its something wrong with your game.

oh hey just thought of this but not everybody plays a nord ond hander i think most play a two hander light armor nordso ya
