Yeah this seems to have started after the 41.66 update.

Also, are you playing MP? Are the radios in the cars working for you at all? for me they all do the <bzzt> at all times. they only seem to be working in solo.

It works for me in MP using walkie talkie & ham, but haven't check car radio yet, but only as far as showing the message line. No clue what they are.

I hope this gets some visibility and attention, even by someone who understands modding enough to give us a temp fix--I can navigate all the lua, but I cant read lua well enough to know what the issue is

Yea, I agree. I SORTA know what is going on, but not sure what station or what the fix is requiring. :/

Yes, I play in MP. I have a dedicated server and the radios work on the cars, hams, radio and walkies. That must be another bug. Bleh, I ham half tempted on removing the core gameplay of this mod and just having the locations. It is sad because it gave us a reason to check out those towns.

Core gameplay works, I tp to station as admin and repairing it myself and AEBS works again, the problem is the radio message seems having problem showing the codes on radio. It is a minor bug...but require someone knowing what the bug is.

its so fricking weird then cause ive tried reinstalling my game, wiping and reinstalling the server a few times, the radio in the cars NEVER work for me now. i tried hosting a vanilla game, and vanilla dedicated server, the car radios still dont work. they only work in solo.

I assume it is with this mod that you are having trouble with radios in cars?

the car radio bug is something to do with 41.66+ and has to be fixed by the devs. the issue i have with this mod is the same as you, Lua code instead of the needed information when i use a handheld or placed radio in base.

i suspect the issues are related, its something the devs screwed up in the back end. when I rolled back to 41.65, the car radios were working normally in MP again.

I have the same issue where I get the message over the radio, but it doesnt give my the Diag code or the location. Also care radios dont work yeah

And I honestly don't think the dev is going to fix it tbh. Doesn't really seem to be active on here. I hope with next major update he will update and fix (but there might be more bugs)

there is an unofficial version of this mod linked here in the discussions thread that mostly fixes the issue. it still has problems with the some of the radio messages added by expanded helicopter events but its better than nothing.
