I've just installed it on my server, and I'm really enjoying the challenge of learning the new production chain. However, I am struck by how slow the initial start is, I really wouldn't want to go through this again on a new start.

building the initial assembling bench and wind turbine seems to take a very long time, purely because of the speed of the survival kit.
