I understand that this might not have been added due to the fact that too much fire automatically triggers rain for cpu efficiency, but are there any plans to have the wind speed and weather affect fire spread speed?

As of now, nothing touches the vanilla fire mechanic. There are no plans to change that right now.

The ambiance for blizzard fades in and out at both ends- I adjusted it in a WAV so the loop is more seemless. If that's easy for you to do, then maybe it's an easy fix on your own. But if not, I have the WAV if you want to let me know how to get it to you.

I think coincidence is not what this is. Happens to me repeatedly.

Windy uses vanilla mechanics. All I can do is even further pump the wind speed up. But that looks dumb in the game.
