Go on tournaments. Other people organize them for you.
Vamps farm xp like crazy via herds. The adventurer diplomat and cleric tracks boost your herd size. As a hunter you get true faith xp via find lair journeys. Waste a 1000+ year old vamp and get a perk point instantly. Write your epic book about your traveling. + 4 perk points.
Plus umbra adventures.
Plus tavern stories.
Diablerie, if you want to go there.
Crafting xp.
Plus combat moves that give you xp. Eat your enemies. In combat. War is a picknick.
Which means getting XP is very hard. Maybe it should be very hard, that's what game's intending (if that's what mod authors want). But no one should say that "it's actually easy to get lots of XP"
Once you got that just play your character. Vamps get rewards for drinking blood. Hunters get rewards for wasting bad guys.
