how do i get my herds to live longer?
So, my herds keep dying (or changing bloodtypes with some vampires) and this is really an issue for me, since it means i have to keep finding and adding mortals to my herds, hence it becomes very repetitive. I might just change and only herd vampires to avoid this, but in my case they seem to have worse blood. Does anyone know how to keep the human herds alive longer?

You don't. The hunt for the best blood is a something that occupies a lot of vampire time in TTRPG. We abstract it a bit with automatic feeding on herd. You don't have to herd... you could just drain every vampire or mortal you encounter. We have lessened the curve on resonance so the base is higher and the advantage of higher resonance is lower.

Weeeell, I don´t want to be that guy that contradicts the developer, but ... I am fairly sure there is a way. Firstly, hire a capable court physician - obviously. Secondly, you can ghoul your herd, which makes them immune to gaing and gives them a huge health boost. Unfortunately, this tends to screw up their resonance. You can manipulate their resonance with certain disciplines, though. Also, resonance seems to be tied to character traits and stress level.
At least in pen and paper you could play with your food to get better resonance - make them horny, frightened, excited before you drink from them.
