I like the idea of starting out as a low-rank demon in an empire, slowly growing their power base and corrupting it from within, but since the vast majority of "religions" consider them evil I can't imagine I'd last very long in most nations. There's the nation the starter demon of Lust starts in, of course, but I don't find starting with a competitor who's way higher rank than me appealing. Any suggestions?
