It's been ages since I played this mod-- or CK3 in general, so I wasn't sure about where/what I ought to do. I wound up picking a minor Brujah vampire in the Court of Love named Veronique D'Orleans, who stood out to me because she seems about as close to a not-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as vampires get in this setting.

If you'd like to get some context for how my game's going, feel free to read through the spoiler-- if you want the TL;DR I've been building my powerbase over decades, and I ate a Methusalah.

There's been a lot of unique opportunities/experiences I've had, and I'm surprised to say that this is my most fun playthrough of this mod yet. I spent most of my time playing tall, developing my demesne, studying the disciplines and growing my herd, occasionally going to war to conquer or blunder lands of my neighbors.

I've sired four Childer so far-- one a former crusader, the other a dumb but incredibly strong brute, a human witch who called herself "The bride of satan" and who I had to bloodbond in order to stop from going absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and a young prettyboy offered to me by my liege as a gift.

I've focused a lot on cultivating a large retinue of strong vampire champions, either via siring with my first two childer, going to war and recruiting promising prisoners, or straight up subjugating weaker rulers with high stats/prowess/blood potency. My most useful assets have been my first childer and Sinthgunt, a druidic woman who lived before the Roman conquest of Gaul and who sired Alaric, king of the Visigoths. Between my son's great stewardship and her skills as a general and talent for bringing control in my provinces at a ridiculous pace, I've become one of the most powerful kindred in the court of love.

Or Francia, as it's now called, since The Red Empress got assassinated and whose successors were usurped by a Tremere Methusalah, who after blackmailing once I discovered was a diablorist (no surprise there) I quickly diablorized myself (after an ungodly number of save scums)

I'm honestly disappointed that eating a Methusalah only brought my blood potency and generations up by one-- I was planning to start my own cadet Branch of the Hannibalid dynasty of the Brujah, which I did anyway, but it's not the same without being a methusalah. I guess I COULD eat four more vampires and get there, but my character's supposed to be a compassionate person who stays in touch with her humanity instead of megalomaniacal, serial diablorizing psychopath.

Anyways, I'm only 56 years into this game. I don't know how long games in this mod USUALLY go on for, but I feel like my unlife has only just begun. I have to get back at my neighbor who stole a county from me, and I need to turn Orlean into the greatest city in Francia-- and that requires me to ascend and direct our cultural fascinations away from advanced bowmaking and towards... Idunno, ANYTHING else.

Do any of you guys have any recommendations to make this campaign even more fun than it's already been? I'm having a blast, but I know there's probably a hell of a lot more that I'm missing. Does Veronique have any more unique events? Have any of you guys ever played her? If so, what's your strategies to succeed/expand given the situation? If you haven't, I'd still appreciate your advice.
