I created a custom Salubri with a random Ashirra faith for Socrota, nothing really special. I open up by swearing fealty to the King of Yemen as a fire and forget and plan on slowly climbing the succession chain later after I've built up. 5 years later the King is assassinated and I'm elected despite the fact their chosen successor at last check still had more votes than me, I swear fealty to the Caliphate...2 months later I'm Caliph because they're assassinated...3 months later both titles are scattered bordergored messes and I'm back to just being the duchess of Socrota wondering what the hell happened.
