Even Mashad which is considerable bigger then Sari seems to be pretty small, especially in relation to the area size of the mosque.
Bandare Azali is another example for a town which has multiple modern houses but is more the size of a small village.
Downsizing the area of the towns proportinal to the downsizing of the terrain doesn't seem to work well from my perspective. If you check out Sari on a map, then at least me would expect a town that is around maybe half the size of whats north of the river in your Khoramshahr terrain.
2.) The area around many towns has been flattened out completely, which gives the area a very artificial look and feel.
3.) There doesn't seem to be any agriculture.
That's because placing objects in the editor is easy when ground is flat (for my friends). After importing into terrain builder I will add some details such as heights (hardest part because terrain builder does not respond -maybe because of terrain size- and I can't move and find in TB; L3DT is harder because I can't see objects), trees, bushes or maybe change mask, extend roads, ...
Mashhad roads are 70% completed structures will be placed around roads and some villages will be added.
We had FPS drop issue in Ahwaz so I removed objects and we must replace them.
Airports are not completed yet. Only Mehrabad Airport has some details.
There doesn't seem to be any agriculture: I think I should work more on empty areas and add some jungles, farms, villages around cities, ...
Object placement in eden editor
@Adeptus
Tehran will be rich -> middle and north, slum -> south
IDK if this even does affects Iran terrain, but it does definetely does affect Altis (and likely also Stratis and Malden)
Would it be possible to make in Dubai one or two of those "Artificial Islands" that Dubai has IRL?
Maybe would need to be something that that only merely resembles the real ones + not stick to the texture that can be seen on the ground.
Because IRL they have lots of large tall buildings in them, but since the ArmA 3 terrain is in about a "1:10" scale you can't even fit a single large APEX DLC building inside the center of the textured area.
