sorry guys its abandoned for now (maybe for ever idk)

this mod makes maps like Altis have a bunch of corrupted black bushes all around the map, took me time to troubleshoot which mod was causing it. I suggest not having this mod loaded if your making a scenario on Altis. If you wondering why the fuck I have this mod loaded if im on Altis, it is because I have a lot of mods loaded that I might not use at the moment, just so that they are available if I want to switch maps or add something without having to reboot the game and manually add.

Is there an update plan?

Is there any way I can get permission to finish this map and use it for my server?

Would it be able to remove grass from Iraq? It hurts my eyes because it's a desert area.

Predator14, I'd like to direct your attention to the Description which says: "The only real part of this terrain is main texture. Other data and features such as roads, mountains, rivers, ... are not real."

Read the description next time to avoid any misunderstandings.

Your map will not work, there is no personalized asset so the atmosphere is absent and it doesn't look like Iran at all ... You don't know Iran, made personalized assets !!!

Yes, as you know there are some real scale terrains (PMC) and everybody can use them:

it probably would have been better to make just a part of iran in real scale instead of the entire country scaled down to themepark size. either way good luck. a good iran map is desperately needed.

When are you guys gonna be 50% done with the map. I would like tehran to be worked on first and add a verity of bases and such. Keep up the hard work with the mod and hope all goes well!

This looks absolutly amazing and i would love to make a mission and get my Team to fight in Iran. This is the First ever Iranian map I have seen, its always been Afghan or Iraq so its nice to see someone going somewhere new.

If you google Iran or city names you will find out Iran is actually has mixed structures. Even in khoramshahr terrain (modern, old, remnants of wartime):

Coz this map really great and hope it gets more arabic flavour:
Arabic flavour is not suitable for this terrain and ~50% of the objects were placed by the citizen of the same city.

@The Wild Burgess: RSO will be great, but not really finished. Doors don't open, and AI can see through some walls. I still hope it will be fixed someday coz will be the best buidling set for middle east cities / maps.

Maybe buidlings from the Lythium map will be a compromise for this.

Coz this map really great and hope it gets more arabic flavour. Right now cities very mixed with east european buildings or medditerranean.

hello i love the map what you have done with it thus far and pray you will all be able to continue the work on it in the near and far future. I know these are some tough time for a whole lot of ppl. and Im glad we have arma in common to get a release from the craziness of the political world. I wish nothing but protection upon you who have to be around the virus every day I pray that you have protection around you and that God keeps you safe. Thanks again for your great work cant wait to see what you will put out in the future.

Its an obviously very scaled down very low detailed part of the world. That being said, its the biggest map in arma other than the TOH South asia, and unlike that one, this one has a coast to put down a carrier.

Awesome dude, maybe you could look into using some of the buildings terrains like Lythium, Sangin, and CLAfghan uses.
