How does one stop the Spellplague?
The Simbul looked as if they were going for the Spellplague, so I took them out, only for Sembia to start it a few turns later.

So, everyone declared war on them, and we took all of their cities (that I can tell) with 25 turns left to spare. Sembria no longer appears on the Diplomacy menu, so I think they're gone.

But the Spellplague counter is still going, weave is still not accumulating... what now? Have I lost the game just because someone STARTED the countdown? There is no way you can take everyone out on the highest levels before they start it, AIs get big bonuses...

Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

it says that you have to win, so you have to win in someone before the counter ends
