I don't, personally, think this is a good idea; I was happier with the lower number. I know some others have complained that the 25% was too harsh, but I don't understand this. UWE significantly increases the population of the game world and the amount of inter-faction conflict in almost every area (this is part of its charm), which means that making money from looting is extremely easy, as there are generally dead and unconscious people everywhere. That means that I've sometimes found it *easier* to make money by looting in UWE, despite the price nerf (which I thought was very helpful for rebalancing). It's still very easy to rapidly become very rich with fairly little effort as a looter.
