Could be a mod conflict in your case, because the tech hunters towns I am used to go, I dont have that problem.

Definitely sounds like another mod is spawning the same things. If you go to the in-game editor, it should tell you which mod the stuff is from. I am not sure if it is safe to manually move interior furniture yourself. If it's overlapping buildings or exterior objects that cause the issue, you can easily move them a tiny bit, but I have never touched interiors.
