Weapon Operator Skill
So, with the deck gun, you need the Weapon Operator Skill. I read in the discussion this allows Engineers and Radio operators to use the deck gun. However, leaders don't seem to have access to this skill. Was the introduction of this skill then meant to make it so that Leaders can't operate the deck gun?

Leaders should start with the skill by default engineers and radioMen have to research the skill in order to be able to use the deck guns

You should be able to see the skill already filled in to the skill tree when you open up the leader. If you don't see it, that means something with the mod has not loaded right? Or you have the mod conflict

Thanks. I disabled all my mods except UBE and TDC. Started a new game and it showed up. Now the challenge is to slowly turn the mods on one by one, each time starting a new game, until I find the culprit. 'le sigh' :( That's gonna take a while.

I have the same problem but I don't understand which mod doesn't allow me to use the deck gun.
