IIRC, only the pilot can deploy the fastropes. They are toggled by pressing 1 in the current state of the mod. There's a greenlight to let passengers know that the ropes have been deployed and they can descend.

Keep in mind, as shown in the video, the ropes reach 10 meters of altitude max.

P.S. You won't be able to see the ropes locally, you'd have to be in a server.

Chief has a very accurate response here, ropes are toggleable by pressing 1 as pilot, and only passengers can use them (not the gunners/copilot) they are fully server replicated, simulated ropes, which can also snag on the ground and on buildings if youre not careful. the rope length is 12 meters, but you can drop a bit after that (standard fall damage height after end of rope)

any chance we can see a russian heli in the future? that is when they fix the squad SDK

There is an MI-8 CAS which OWI made that ive modded a bit and included. very possible more are added and fast ropes for MI-8 are added

Yes, but at the current time I havent been able to port that into my system, as things are still constantly changing

How does one spawn in the Little Bird, looking around for the command but can't seem to find it?

you need to be on a layer that already has the littlebird to spawn it. I usually recomend jensons_range_rangers, then there are several spawn codes for the different variants.

I don't know why and I don't know how this works, but I managed to spawn in the little bird into the regular jensens range map. Though, this would work only after I loaded your map up.

how do i install this to a server, i've put it under mods but its not working

If youre trying for a linux server, its not yet setup for that

Is there currently a discord for the mod? And are there any consistant servers? Also, are all the things mentioned like, NVG's and rangers avalible? That seems incredibly cool and Im not sure why it would'nt be in the desc if It's not in the mod but might as well ask. Thanks in advance! :D
