I'm interested in the history and current state of military rations (it's weird, I know), so I'm really glad to see someone adding realistic MREs to the game and doing a pretty good job so far. Looks like there's still a lot more additions to come. I appreciate the help and this mod will definitely be getting custom food items in the future. I went with vanilla food items as a baseline to see if the idea caught on before going all out and spending the hours to make all the extra assets (and possibly some cool animations) for the custom food items. Things are looking great so far and this mod will get a major revamp when the time comes!

Makes sense, I wouldn't wanna jump in head first like that either. Personally, I'm also looking forward to seeing what you have in mind for any animations. Let me or any other people who want to help out know if you need any help with the assets, animations or scripting. Glad I could be of some use, and good work on the mod!

So, could you add an tools medkit and an open one for RP and make the open one be placeable, so you then have the tools one to act as if you are using the tools from the medkit

can you please make mres when you open them have water and food and not just food
