Either the server was NOT actually updated. And only those players on the old version can connect.
Or
The server did update. And only those players who also updated can connect.
Server owner should read their log files and check their mod files to see if the patch was a success. If not... they need to fix it their side.
For game players though... If the server is confirmed patched ok...
Restart their PC.
Clean Reinstall of Ark Mod
------------------------------
1. Stop ARK if it is running
2. Unsubscribe (or else it immediately redownloads)
3. Stop Steam
4. Remove `<ModID> folder` and `<ModID>.mod` here: < ...\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\ >
5. Remove `<ModID> folder` here: < ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\346110\ >
6. Restart Steam
7. Re-subscribe and wait for steam to finish downloading
8. Open ARK and let it install (wait for the “Installing” text in the bottom right corner to vanish)
