Those are both intended.

Tree kin come from elf units in the lore.

Some elite units can be promoted into heroes.

Normal dryads can upgrade into tree kin. See the picture

Why can Malevolent dryads not upgrade into tree kin?

Might be an interplay between multiple mods, but in my Rakarth army I upgraded the feral steggo to stegodon and it's now got no riders and no animations, just slides around everywhere

With only this mod (and the submod for SFO) + SFO I am getting constant desyncs with a friend. Clean mod install folder and everything.
