Hello, while translating the mod I noticed the descriptions of regional and metastatic NSCLC are the same:

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) begins when healthy cells in the lung change and grow out of control, forming a mass called a tumor, a lesion, or a nodule. A lung tumor can begin anywhere in the lung. Regional, the cancer has progressed from the lungs to nearby lymph nodes.

@Gokustan Thanks very much for picking that up, I've replaced it with "Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) begins when healthy cells in the lung change and grow out of control, forming a mass called a tumor, a lesion, or a nodule. A lung tumor can begin anywhere in the lung. Metastatic lung cancer occurs when lung cancer cells break away from a tumor and travel to other parts of your body through the blood or lymph system."

Hi again, it seems required room information is absent from the description of incision and drainage treatment, I'm not sure in which room it's done, maybe you'd like to add it~
Sleepy068  [开发者] 2020 年 1 月 26 日 上午 4:11
@gokustan Hi mate, I'm definitely not making this easy on you am I? Really sorry about that, the treatment is just a clone of the original incision and drainage so it should be treatable in the oncology diagnostic unit or in any oncology office, you should be able to order the treatment anywhere and at anytime. I just realised though I made it Oncology only to prescribe and that might cause issues if you move them to ICU, etc. I'll fix that up right now.

@Gokustan Hi Mate, I just posted an update with the correct local description change and modified the treatment so it can be prescribed anywhere. Hoping this makes it a little clearer and fixes any issues you might currently have with treating this. Please report if you continue to have problems. Sorry for the hassle though.
gokustan 2020 年 1 月 26 日 上午 5:11
No problem at all! It's just that while translating new treatments I noticed it was the only treatment which lacked required room information, actually I haven't encountered it in-game. You're doing a fantastic job, I really enjoy the mod, thank you!

@gokustan That is a relief that you weren't having an issue with the mod. Definitely good you reported it though because I am pretty sure that would of lead to issues if the patient moved departments (the entire thing is super rare but it can still happen and I don't want this to ruin someones day).
It is honestly kind words like that, that makes it all worth it, thank you very much.

Hi ! I am currently making a new mod which adds diagnostics in the vanilla departments. In order to avoid making duplicates, I wouldn't do what concerns cancerology on the other hand I give you the list of diagnoses that I have not seen in your files.

Endocrinology : insulinoma, thyroid cancer (papillary carcinoma, medullary carcinoma), pineocytoma, gastrinoma, glucagonoma, VIPoma

PS: I didn't know where to post this comment
Sleepy068  [开发者] 2020 年 2 月 21 日 上午 4:18
Hey @Mac, no worries at all mate, thanks very much for the heads up. Feel free to add anything you want, if you start to branch into Oncology, I'll just keep an eye on your mods content to try and avoid duplication (or maybe add it in a different approach so it feels different). Just so you are aware, I have planned to add thyroid cancer (papillary, follicular, medullar, and anaplastic as well as rare ones like poorly differentiated (UD), thyroid lymphoma etc) and pancreatic cancer to my mod but nothing else you've listed.
If you add Endocrinology based cancers, we can create links between your mod and Oncology so that in the very least, the player can diagnose and treat a patient with that cancer at either department. I can create this link in my mod so it is flexible, be only if you'd want the same in yours that we'd need to create two way links. I've been running some of these ideas past the devs lately to help mods work together better (there are game limits but i'm optimistic).
I'd be more than happy to help you with your mod if you'd like to collaborate? Feel free to add me to steam.

Hi,

Are you sure, isn't a operating room for this treatment ? Not a regular hospitalisation ?

<LocID>TRT_SLP_SEGMENTECTOMY_DESC</LocID>

<Text>Segmental resection is a surgical procedure to remove part of an organ or gland, as a sub-type of a resection, which might involve removing the whole body part. It may also be used to remove a tumor and normal tissue around it. \n\nRequired room: Regular Hospitalisation at Oncology dpt.</Text>

Hi Nico, you are 100% correct, ill get that fixed up ASAP. I might need to check i havent made that mistake elsewhere too. Thank you!
Silent swallow 2020 年 5 月 1 日 上午 10:01
I don't know if you can change the cancer check to be limited to oncology or lower the priority of AI

Because every patient in our emergency department in our hospital has priority to receive cancer screening

Hi @SilentSwallow, no worries at all, i did tweak the priorities and perhaps made them too high? Ill check that out right away and try and find the sweet spot. I won't be able to limit it to Oncology though sorry, just how the possible diagnosis stuff works but tweaking the priorities should help fix the issue.
Sleepy068  [开发者] 2020 年 5 月 1 日 下午 7:37
Hi @SilentSwallow, done and dusted, I've kept them on par with other stock exams expect the physical exams (non-lab ones) as they need to be a little higher (equivalent of stock physical exams). I can't really make them less then this sorry.
You'll still get oncology exams in emergency but that's because oncology patients can come via emergency (it'll only happen to those with a possible diagnosis from oncology). Hoping now it'll be based off the % chance that the patient has a oncology diagnosis.
I have reduced some auxiliary blood tests below the normal priority so hopefully those won't be run as often, they are sort of a last resort or final detail thing so i'm happier with this.
If you have your certainty set to high, your doctors will run almost every exam so you'll probably wont notice much of a difference. Hope it helps, let me know if things don't seem right.

Thank you, the situation has improved a lot
The current version is good :steamhappy:
