[USE GUI INSTEAD] Smart Cannon instructions
------------------------------------------Number inputs-----------------------------
1st orange = fire force (min value = 1)
3rd orange = spread (no limits)
4th orange = reload time (no limits)
1st red = explosion level (min value = 1)
2nd red = explosion radius (min value = 1)
3rd red = explosion impulse radius (min value = 1)
4th red = explosion impulse strength (no limits)
1st pink = projectile gravity (no limits)
2nd pink = projectile lifetime (min value = 1)
3rd pink = recoil force (min value = 1)
4th pink = proximity fuse (min value = 1)
4th violet = projectiles per shot (min value = 0, max value = 20)
1st yellow = x offset
2nd yellow = y offset
3rd yellow = z offset
while = projectile type (works only in spud gun mode, min value = 0)
----------------------------------------Logic Inputs----------------------------------
4th yellow = ignore cannon rotation (useful for offsets)
white = spud gun mode (shoots non-explosive projectiles when turned on)
2nd gray = no projectile friction (projectiles won't slow down)
3rd gray = no recoil
Any other color = shoot

I understand that it would be difficult to explain what they all mean, so I'll just ask- what settings would emulate a tank cannon?

Basically you would need to set fire force, projectile gravity, explosion level and spread to the desired values. You could also play around with all the settings to get the hang of it.

If you don't really understand what "3rd red" means then you could check the screenshots at the workshop page of the mod.

i'ma try to update that guide a bit later, so it would contain more info about each setting.

How to save settings? When i break number panel, all settings also became deleted.

Maybe i just overlooked this, but how can i make the smart cannon "explode" when it shoots to look like it actually left the barrel with a detonation effect. Just like the premade guns do?

As far as i'm concerned, there seems not to really be an option for that, but rather a workaround. For anyone interested: Add a second smart cannon (best behind the actual one) and set the explosion radius to 0 as well as the lifetime to a very small number. Set the offset of this cannon to the actual cannon that will shoot the projectile and shoot both at the same time. This seems to be a valid workaround.

it applies only to players, detecting creations will torture your cpu
